3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT, WITH TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-FOUR THOUSAND, THREE
6 HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($64,350.00), TO PERFORM
7 CONSTRUCTION REPAIRS TO THE WEST CENTRAL COMMUNITY
8 CENTER PARKING LOT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, because of heavy vehicular traffic use the parking lot at the West Central Community
11 Center is in need of repair;and,
12 WHEREAS, after Bid No.1282, which received two(2) responses, it was determined that the lowest
13 responsible and responsive bid was made by Township Builders, Inc.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized into enter into an agreement with Township Builders,Inc.,
17 in an amount not to exceed Sixty-Four Thousand, Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($64,350.00),to construct
18 repairs at the West Central Community Center parking lot.
19 Sections. Funds for this agreement are available in Parks& Recreation Land Account,No. 104522-
20 61040.
21 Section 3. Severability.In the event any title,paragraph, item,sentence,clause,phrase,or word of this
22 resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall
23 not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion
24 so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
25 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, which are inconsistent
26 with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
