3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE AMENDED USES OF 2021 CDBG
4 ENTITLEMENT FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

6 WHEREAS, as a part of the Annual Plan, which must be submitted to the U.S. Department of
7 Housing & Urban Development (HUD) by July 1, 2021, the City must suggest the sources of uses of
8 certain funds to be received from HUD; and,
9 WHEREAS, consistent with the City's Citizen Participant Plan, the Consolidated Planning
10 Committee has recommended the amended sources and uses of the 2021 HUD CDBG Entitlement Funds
11 which are anticipated to total One Million, Five Hundred Fifty-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty-
12 Two Dollars(1,553,622.00), along with Forty Thousand Dollars($40,000.00)reallocated funds for a total
13 anticipated amount of One Million, Five Hundred Ninety-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty-Two
14 Dollars($1,593,622.00);and,
15 WHEREAS, a virtual meeting have been conducted in order to assure the maximum citizen input
16 possible.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors recommends submission of the following amended uses of an
20 anticipated One Million, Five Hundred Ninety-Three Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars
21 (1,593,622.00) in 2021 Community Development Block Grant Funds:
22 (A)OWNER-OCCUPIED REHABILITATION $ 953,897.60
23 (B) CARELINK-MEALS ON WHEELS $ 60,000.00
24 (C) WINSTON-SALEM INDUSTRIES FOR THE BLIND DBA IFB SOLUTIONS $ 40,000.00
25 (D)MINISTRY OF INTERCESSION DBA BRIDGE 2 SUCCESS $ 36,000.00
26 (E) THE SALVATION ARMY $ 18,000.00
27 (F) CHI-ST.VINCENT EAST CLINIC $ 175,000.00
28 (G)ADMINISTRATION $ 310,724.40
29 TOTAL $1,593,622.00
30 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
31 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
32 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
33 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
34 Resolution.

1 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
