The current siding is a combination of about 85% of what appears to be a particle board type such as Masonite lap siding and 15% fiber cement lap siding. Neither appears to be the original material. dw- _ . would propose to remove the particle board siding, which has been a relatively constant maintenance issue since the building was purchased in 2008 (see photos above). We would then finish out the exterior in a Hardie Plank fiber cement siding to match the existing siding. These windows do not appear to be the originals. We would propose to replace the current windows with an aluminum replacement that would function properly.
