Dear Mr. Fason and Gregory,
Your application HDC2021-007 for Facade changes, at 314 E 6th Street will be heard
before the Historic District Commission on April 1, 2021. The hearing will be held in the
William Grant Still Ballroom of the Robinson Center, 426 West Markham. The meeting will
begin at 4:00 p.m.
Your application will be item One on the agenda. You or your agent must be present in
order for the item to be heard.
Please follow directions exactly when giving ten days’ notice to all property owners as
stated in the application on page 3 instructions #4 and #5. Use “HDC2021-007” to
complete your mailing labels as shown in the instructions.
The application form states that “A description of materials for all exterior surfaces listed
above shall be provided to Staff at time of filing. Web site addresses are appropriate but
cut sheets of individual materials are preferred.” The following information will need to
be submitted to Staff by March 11, 2021 to complete your filing. If you are not including
any of the items below, please respond with “not applicable”.
Doors: Please clarify that the door design is one pane of glass as shown on page 27 of
the PDF (page 6 of cut sheet).
Solar Collectors: Provide details on locations, size, material, and finish if any.
Walks/Sidewalks/Drives: Provide information on city sidewalk repair or replacement if
any.
Signage: Provide details on locations, size, material, and finish of all signs. If you do
not have information at this time, please give us a location and square footage of any
placement of signs including the CAW logo. Times of operations, house numbers,
emergency phone numbers, etc. are informational signage. Please describe those also.
