3 TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH STREAMWORKS MITIGATION SERVICES,LLC,IN
5 AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND, EIGHT
6 HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE AND 14/100 DOLLARS ($72,845.14), TO
7 PURCHASE WETLAND MITIGATION CREDITS FOR THE
8 BRIARWOOD DITCH PROJECT, PHASE 2; AND FOR OTHER
9 PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the Wetland Mitigation Credits for the Briarwood Ditch Project,
12 Bid No. 1231, which is a condition for issuance of a Corps of Engineers Permit for the Briarwood Ditch
13 Project;and,
14 WHEREAS, Streamworks Mitigation Services, LLC, was the lowest responsive, responsible bid
15 meeting specifications.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Streamworks
19 Mitigation Services, LLC, for Wetland Mitigation Credits for the Briarwood Ditch Project, in an amount
20 not to exceed Seventy-Two Thousand, Eight Hundred Forty-Five and 14/100 Dollars($72,845.14),which
21 is the base bid amount of Sixty Thousand, Seven Hundred Four and 28/100 Dollars($60,704.28),plus 20%
22 contingencies.
23 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
24 Use Tax Funds and the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by
25 Resolution No. 14,803.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
