Brian,
I appreciate you stopping by. Right after you left the carpenters came and we
have been going over the details.
The total job will cost move than I thought partly due to some of the work they
will have to "mill out" ??? I think they are going to have to hand saw some rather
than power saw.
Anyway we are not adding anything or changing anything. All will be put back as
it was.
This is a list of what they are doing:
1. remove damaged area of roof which is approx. 6 ft of eave from top to bottom
of gable and front SE Corner of porch.
2. Replace or repair any damaged rafters.
3. Install new decking, felt and match shingles.
4. copy and install molding.
5. Seal and paint to match
6. Repair wood fence
7. Repair rock retainer wall
8. Clean up and hauling
The total for this is $4,635.00
This price also includes the cost to get them to hurry over and do some
temporary work to get us protected. They collected different the pieces of trim
and dental molding to make sure they match them.
Please let me know if I need to do anything with the city or if I am missing
something. I really do appreciate you help and stop by and check if you have
time.
