Dear Commissioners:
Our staff has reviewed the Certificate of Appropriateness for the proposed
construction of a 1.8 meter VSAT dish and pole support to be located on the rear
of the building at 610 Rock Street.
Although this communication equipment is associated with a modern, non-
contributing structure within the district, it appears that it would be visible
at street level from Rock Street looking west and therefore would be visually
incomputable with the historic character of the neighborhood. It is hoped that
an alternative location, out of sight from Rock Street, could be utilized.
