3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
4 EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO DONATE A CITY OF
5 LITTLE ROCK LAND BANK PROPERTY, LOCATED AT 3101 SOUTH
6 ARCH STREET, TO THE VILLAGE PLACE FOR USE AS A
7 COMMUNITY GARDEN; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, on March 26, 2021, the City of Little Rock Land Bank Commission approved the
10 donation of land located at 3101 South Arch Street to The Village Place for use as a Community Garden;
11 and,
12 WHEREAS,the produce grown at the Community Garden will be made available to the community
13 at no cost;and,
14 WHEREAS,pursuant to Ark.Code Ann. § 14-54-302(West Supp.2019),a resolution is necessary to
15 accomplish such a transfer of municipal property.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute any necessary documents, in a form
19 acceptable to the City Attorney, to donate the property located at 3101 South Arch Street, Little Rock,
20 Arkansas,72201,Parcel No. 34L2650001400,more particularly described as:
21 Lot A; Block 2; Subdivision: Chattanooga; Chattanooga Except E36' of A 2
22 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 3. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
