3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE
6 THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED THIRTEEN DOLLARS ($221,413.00),
7 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF
8 TWENTY-SIX (26) WATCHGUARD CAMERAS AND ACCESSORIES
9 FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE
10 ARKANSAS STATE CONTRACT PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AND
11 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

13 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department is in need of twenty-six(26)WatchGuard Camera and
14 Accessories to support the equipping for service of newly-leased SUV Patrol Vehicles; and,
15 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Contract, No. SP-16-0128, the Little Rock Police
16 Department can purchase twenty-six(26)WatchGuard Cameras and Accessories from Motorola Solutions,
17 Inc.,to equip the newly-leased Patrol Vehicles for the total cost of Two Hundred Twenty-One Thousand,
18 Four Hundred Thirteen Dollars($221,413.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State
22 Contract to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc., for the purchase of twenty-six (26)
23 WatchGuard Cameras and Accessories to equip the newly-leased SUV Patrol Vehicles at a total cost of
24 Two Hundred Twenty-One Thousand,Four Hundred Thirteen Dollars($221,413.00),plus applicable taxes
25 and fees.
26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Special Project Account No.
27 108609-72300-S60C239,in the amount of One Hundred Sixty-Seven Thousand Dollars($167,000.00),and
28 the Police Special Account for Warranty and License Fee Account No. 210529-S00B312, in the amount of
29 Fifty-Four Thousand, Four Hundred Thirteen Dollars($54,413.00).
30 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
31 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
32 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
33 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
34 resolution.

1 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
