3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND,ONE
6 HUNDRED NINETY-SIX AND 52/100 DOLLARS ($140,196.52), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWENTY-
8 SIX (26) MOBILE RADIO SYSTEMS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE
9 DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE ARKANSAS STATE CONTRACT
10 PURCHASING AGREEMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department is in need of twenty-six(26) Mobile Radio Systems
13 to support the equipping for service of newly-leased SUV Patrol Vehicles; and,
14 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Contract No. SP-16-0128, the Little Rock Police
15 Department can purchase twenty-six (26) Mobile Radio Systems from Motorola Solutions, Inc., to equip
16 the newly-leased Patrol Vehicles for the total cost of One Hundred Forty Thousand, One Hundred Ninety-
17 Six and 52/100 Dollars($140,196.52), plus applicable taxes and fees.
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State
21 Contract to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc., for the purchase of twenty-six(26)Mobile
22 Radio Systems to equip the newly-leased SUV Patrol Vehicles at a total cost of One Hundred Forty
23 Thousand, One Hundred Ninety-Six and 52/100 Dollars($140,196.52),plus applicable taxes and fees.
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Special Project Account No.
25 108609-72300-S60C239.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
