3 A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS, INC., IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND, ONE
6 HUNDRED THIRTY-TWO AND 16/100 DOLLARS ($860,132.16), FOR
7 THE PURCHASE OF THREE (3) HEIL TWENTY-EIGHT (28)-YARD
8 DURAPACK SIDE-LOADER REFUSE TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC
9 WORKS DEPARTMENT SOLID WASTE DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER
10 PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division has a need to purchase three(3)Heil
13 Twenty-Eight(28)-Yard Durapack Side-Loader Refuse Trucks; and,
14 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through the utilization of the Sourcewell Contract No.
15 091219-THC.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with River City Hydraulics,Inc.
19 in an amount not to exceed Eight Hundred Sixty Thousand, One Hundred Thirty-Two and 16/100 Dollars
20 ($860,132.16), for the purchase of three (3) Heil Twenty-Eight (28)-Yard Durapack Side-Loader Refuse
21 Trucks to be used by the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division.
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Public Works-Solid Waste Account No.
23 603110-72300.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
