3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRAC WITH RIVER CITY HYDRAULICS, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY-EIGHT
6 THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN AND 67/100 DOLLARS
7 ($558,237.67), FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE (3) PETERSON DL3
8 LOADER KNUCKLEBOOM TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
9 DEPARTMENT SOLID WASTE DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER
10 PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division has a need to purchase three (3)
13 Peterson DL3 Knuckleboom Trucks; and,
14 WHEREAS, Vendor selection was made through the utilization of the Sourcewell Contract No.
15 041217-PI1.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with River City Hydraulics,
19 Inc., in an amount not to exceed Five Hundred Fifty-Eight Thousand, Two Hundred Thirty-Seven and
20 67/100 Dollars($558,237.67), for the purchase of three(3) Peterson DL3 Knuckleboom Trucks to be used
21 by the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division.
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Public Works-Solid Waste Account No.
23 603110-72300.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
