3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH SUMMIT TRUCK GROUP, IN AN AMOUNT NOT
5 TO EXCEED FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-SIX THOUSAND, FIVE
6 HUNDRED ONE AND 95/100 DOLLARS ($446,501.95), FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF THREE(3),TWELVE(12)CUBIC-YARD DUMP TRUCKS
8 WITH AUXILIARY HYDRAULICS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
9 DEPARTMENT STREET OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER
10 PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has a need for three(3),Twelve
13 (12) Cubic-Yard Dump Trucks with Auxiliary Hydraulics capable of operating existing snow removal
14 equipment; and,
15 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made through utilization of Sourcewell Contract No.060920-NVS.
16 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Summit Truck Group for the
19 purchase of three(3)Twelve(12)Cubic-Yard Dump Trucks with Auxiliary Hydraulics capable of operating
20 existing snow removal equipment for an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Forty-Six Thousand, Five
21 Hundred One and 95/100 Dollars($446,501.95).
22 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the Public Works Street Department Account No.
23 205409-72300-S40B639.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
