My name is John Gairhan. My wife, Caroline Gairhan, and I live at 1615 Rock Street. Our 1615 Rock residence
was built on a lot 2 years ago where the original dwelling had been destroyed by tornado. We also own and
have done a significant historical restoration at 1623 Rock Street. The 1623 Rock Street residence was built in
1902 and had been neglected for a number of years. We have fully restored this residence and our new
tenants will be moving in next week. We did this renovation despite lacking the support of the local Historic
District Commission and local historic district.
We’ve reviewed the design of the Tim Fox/TDF Family Revocable Trust 1414 Park Lane residence. We would
like to inform you that we believe that this design would fit in well within our neighborhood. We would
recommend that the Historic District Commission approve the request.
