Subject:deny HDC 2019-023 - gatekeepers, do your duty, please!
Dear Mayor Scott and LR Historic District Commission Members,
Again I write to urge you all to deny the proposed infill at 10th & Rock St., HDC 2019-023, on the grounds this
is incompatible with surrounding designs.
Citizens established this Commission to be gatekeepers - to preserve our heritage, and to assure what gets
constructed now upholds those graceful designs of the past.
As owner of 1015 S. Scott St.,I have a property interest in keeping values high with protections afforded by this
Commission. As one who appreciates historic designs, I am glad we preserve our old buildings.
