Dear Mr. Ron Ross,
Your application HDC2020-021 for New universal accessible playground with sidewalks,
at 503 E 9th Street will be heard before the Historic District Commission on November
5, 2020. The hearing will be held in the Board Room at City Hall at 500 West Markham
on the second floor. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Your application will be item Five on the agenda. You or your agent must be present in
order for the item to be heard.
Please follow directions exactly when giving ten days’ notice to all property owners as
stated in the application on page 3 instructions #4 and #5. Use “HDC2020-021” to
complete your mailing labels as shown in the instructions.
The application form states that “A description of materials for all exterior surfaces listed
above shall be provided to Staff at time of filing. Web site addresses are appropriate but
cut sheets of individual materials are preferred.” The following information will need to
be submitted to Staff by October 23, 2020 to complete your filing. If you are not
including any of the items below, please respond with “not applicable”.
Lighting: Specify location, brand, model number, finish, and size for all exterior lighting
that will be new and associated with this project.
Fencing on site: Provide details and locations on fencing, size, material, and finish.
Walks/Sidewalks/Drives: Provide information on sidewalks with size, materials, and
finish.
Landscaping: Provide details on any wall, planting bed border, or any other fixed inert
building material used in permanent landscaping structures.
Signage: Provide details on locations, size, material, and finish of all signs.
