Description of Project: Remove overlap siding and repair, replace and paint the original lap
siding. Restore gutters, remove deck on front façade, remove metal bars on windows, screen
back porch, replace exterior doors, restore windows and install storm windows.
Comments
923 McMath Drive, a contributing structure to the MacArthur Park Historic District, has long been
vacant. This project as described will bring this building back in service. If the Secretary of Interior
Standards for Rehabilitation are followed, the rehab of 923 McMath should be compatible with the and
a welcome improvement.
