3 AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON A TEN (10)-FOOT WIDE SANITARY
4 SEWER EASEMENT, LOCATED WITHIN THE NORTHEAST PORTION
5 OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3424 WEST 25TH STREET, IN THE
6 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, a request was made to abandon an approximately ten (10)-foot wide Sanitary Sewer
9 Easement located within the northeast portion of the property located at 3424 West 25`h Street, Little
10 Rock, Arkansas, under the City's General Police Power Authority pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. § 14-54-
11 104;and,
12 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority has approved the proposed Sanitary
13 Sewer Easement abandonment; and,
14 WHEREAS, abandoning this ten (10)-foot wide Sanitary Sewer Easement will have no adverse
15 impact on the public welfare and safety.
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons a ten (10)-foot Sanitary
19 Sewer Easement, being five(5) feet either side of centerline, in part of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4, Section 8,T-1-
20 N, R-12-W, City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas and the centerline being more particularly
21 described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4, of said Section 8;
22 thence S 87°10'21" E, a distance of 513.05 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, being on the south right-
23 of-way line of West 25th Street; thence S 23°40'26" E, a distance of 71.94 feet; thence N 82°4247" E, a
24 distance of 43.09 feet to the POINT OF TERMINATION, containing 0.03 acres, or 1,150 square-feet,
25 more or less.
26 Section 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the Real Estate
27 Records of the Recorder of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part
32 of the ordinance.
33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent

1 with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
