I understand that Freddie Beck is trying to arrange a meeting with Tim Heiple today to get a better idea of how we need to proceed. Paul Porter should be back in the office today. I will let you know how things develop. I was just getting ready to mail you COA. Brian From: Mcateer, Stephan Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2018 4:16 PM To: Minyard, Brian Subject: RE: U.S. Arsenal Question That photo is from mid 1920s. The contractor says that he can raise the shorter column (that measures 125”) and is already scheduled to be raised, up to match the 129” of its counterpart on the other side of the stairs and the water will drain properly. We are trying to get Tim over tomorrow to look at all this. 2 Stephan McAteer, Director MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History 503 E. 9th St. Little Rock, AR 72202 501-376-4602 501-376-4597 FAX www.arkmilitaryheritage.com From: Minyard, Brian Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2018 4:13 PM To: Mcateer, Stephan Subject: RE: U.S. Arsenal Question What is the date on that photo? Very interesting, it shows the rollercoaster of the porch roof very plainly. My question would be if there is enough height to get the pitch of the built in gutter to drain from the very center all the way to the corner? If your contractor can make the water flow, that would be okay with me.
