Reginald Wright,
Here is the link for the Little Rock Historic District Commission (HDC) that reviews projects in the
MacArthur Park Local Ordinance Historic District. Scroll down. https://www.littlerock.gov/for-
businesses/planning-and-development/boards-commissions/
The guidelines needed will be Section V if a detached garage is needed or Section IV if it is added on to
the house. Link to guidelines arehttps://www.littlerock.gov/for-businesses/planning-and-
development/boards-commissions/local-ordinance-district/
The filing deadline for the HDC was September 8, 2017. I need you to file something with me
immediately so that I can get the legal ad run. I need your final drawings in my office by Monday 8:00
am on September 18th to keep on the October 9, 2017 meeting schedule.
Capitol Zoning District Commission’s (CZDC) website is http://www.czdc.arkansas.gov/ Their deadline to
file is Monday Sept 18th at 4:30 pm for their hearing on October 19th. I have included Boyd Maher in this
email.

If you think you can get all of your drawings done by next Monday, file with me today by filing out the
application form and a quick hand drawn sketch of where the garage goes and some basic
elevations. Then you will give me and CZDC final drawings next Monday.
To further complicate things, The Rozelle Murphy house has a façade easement on it from the State Of
Arkansas. You will need to get any improvement approved by them before construction. I have
included Paul Porter in this email.
If you would like to set up an meeting with all of us, please do. I find it makes things go easier in the
long run. Propose a time. I am free all day tomorrow and most of Thursday.
