Dana, if you can handle everything administratively, and keep us from having to go before the board of
adjustments, then need a letter or an email from you that I can forward to Brian Minyard saying we are in
compliance with the outside seating and signage of the west facade.

Subject: Fassler Hall Historic Commission Hearing
Good Afternoon Elliot and Adam,
I just wanted to let you know that we had our Historic Commission hearing for the expansion to the patio
yesterday, and we were approved!!!
I have copied Dana Carney with the Board of Adjustments, as one stipulation to our approval was that his
office review our outdoor seating. I know we have already talked about this, but to satisfy his requirement,
please note that should you want to increase the number of seats outside to more than 50% of the number
inside (which we currently comply, see the attached drawing), or should you want to provide activities outside
other than eating/drinking, we will need to first submit an application to the Board of Adjustments, and get
their approval.
I told Dana that you all were not looking to do any of those things at this time, but let me know should that
change.
