Gosh! I hope you are feeling better and are ok! As for 1301 S. Scott, I haven't heard from the contractor or owner, but
work seems to have stopped. It wouldn't hurt for the City to send something to the owner: Taibi Kahler 1301 S. Scott St,
Little Rock, AR 72202 or 19 East Lake Dr., North Little Rock, AR 72116. There is also a conservation easement/façade
easement on the house with the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program. I've hipped them to the work and they are
taking action as well. The new roof structure is pretty hideous looking...looks like some jackleg roofer just threw
something up.
I'm not opposed to a change in the roof line if it is done aesthetically; however, the damage/problem with the flat roof
should be repaired first before a new roof is put over it covering up the damage.
Hope you recover quickly.

Hey, I am back in the office, but under doctors order to not speak until Easter. I had a non cancerous growth taken off of
my vocal cords.
2
Eve caught me up on the issue. Should we also issue a stop work order? Are they paying attention to yours? Do you
have the owners names, I will send them a letter saying that they need to come see me for a Certificate of
Appropriateness hearing or a Certificate of Compliance (if they put the thing back the way it was).
let me know.
