Dear Mr. Ryles:
You made an FOI request on December 31, 2003. This request was for information
related to a meeting you stated was held in early 2003 at the East End Alert Center (2601
East 6th Street). I am not aware of a meeting we (Planning Division) conducted there in
early 2003. You stated the meeting was about the future of "East End".
We did conduct a meeting for the "East of I-30 Study" there in late 2002. This went to
the Little Rock Planning Commission in January of 2003. I have made the file on this
available to you. This is the only file I am aware of. When a study is completed, we pull
information to form one file on the `event' and keep it for the record. Most of the
materials related to the meeting would not be kept.
The final action by the Little Rock Board of Directors on the Study — land use and
transportation, was in March of 2003. I hope the information provided is useful and you
are welcome to also get an East of I-30 Study, which is available to anyone at our office
(723 West Markham).

I am regoesting to sae the large poster -board and all other "Public: Recprds" that
were used at the public hearing earlier this year at the Alert Center located at
2601 East 6th. You had two of these large maps showing the proposed land use
for the future in the "East End". 1 would also like to see any handouts, scripts,
transcripts, memos and any other information you have that was prepared before
or after thea meeting Including the sign -in roster of the attendees. Please see the
definition of "Public Records" below. There is no great rush to see this map and
other public Information requested, we should get through the holiday rush and
then I will corse to your offices to look at what you have. Call when you want me
