I am sending this attachment, which is a video, in case you have not had yet had a chance to take the drive. What you see in this video is what we are fighting to save. Please, please don't let this be our last Fall season to have this beautiful separation from "town". I honestly believe losing this beautiful drive will literally break the "heart" of our community. If the Developer is allowed to do what he wants this will be gone. Please keep in mind that once this is gone, it'gone forever. It can never come back. I recently saw Mr. Ritchie on KATV's news report and the words he said that bothered me the most were, " Look at Little Rock, it only has one way to go and that is West, so they just need to get ready for it." Wow! I live just one mile from the Saline County Line (inside Pulaski County). Those of us who live out here have chosen to live "OUT" here. We don't want the city in the country. I hope the attendance of concerned citizens of West Pulaski County who showed up to the last meeting gave you all a clear message, that we want Fletcher's Hollow left as is. This short drive is one of a kind in Pulaski County and I pray you will allow it to be preserves as is. Please take two minutes to watch this video. As a little girl my family drove out that section when it had what was called "the dips", which have been removed. We kids loved the drive then as I do now. It is almost a yearly drive for most of Little Rock citizenry . We have so little left of the good , peaceful , quiet areas that is devoid of noise, traffic, congestion, etc. lets keep this two mile stretch. We of the old group know which hill in the hollow to put the car in neutral to coast the last mile of this part of Kanis. Let us keep this section and forget money, money, money. Thanks for consideration. Change is the root of progress. But there are good changes that lead to good progress and bad changes that lead to bad progress. Changing this stretch of road would be a bad change. The area around and West of Fletcher Creek is rural, it is horse country. It is not a subdivision that would be more appropriate in Mid town. Leave this last stretch of scenic road as it is.
