The County prefers to retain our Master Road Plan requirements for the Kanis Road Scenic Corridor. The standards are: two (2) 10'
paved lanes with five foot (5')paved shoulders/bicycle lanes within 60' of Right -of -Way and no sidewalk.

This is a MSP amendment to reduce the design standard for Kanis Road from Walnut Grove Road to Chenal Downs Blvd
— to (2) two 10.5 foot lanes with no shoulders. Please forward any comments. Currently the standard is two 11 -foot
lanes with 4 foot shoulders.
