HomeMy WebLinkAbout120511 2 RESOLUTION NO. 12,051 3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 16, 2005, AS THE DATE OF 4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF 5 ARNOLD STREET, CONNER STREET AND TWO ALLEYS 6 LOCATED IN BLOCK 35 OF THE JOSEPHINE PANKEY'S 7 EXTENSION OF HER THIRD ADDITION SUBDIVISION, IN THE 8 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AS PUBLIC RIGHTS -OF -WAY; AND FOR 9 OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the 12 Board of Directors vacate and abandon a portion of Arnold Street, Conner Street and 13 two alleys located in Block 35 of the Josephine Pankey's Extension of her Third 14 Addition Subdivision as public rights -of -way, pursuant to its general police power 15 authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City of Little Rock. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned 19 rights -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little 20 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 16th day of August, 2005. 21 Section 2.
