This package will add several Class I, Bike Paths and Class II, Bike Lanes to the Master Bike Plan. Class I Bike Paths for future development are proposed as follows: • Corridor along rail line from Interstate Park to River via Rose Creek • Coleman Creek corridor from UALR to Lee Avenue A Class I Bike Path is a paved path for the use of bicycles and they may be along a street or an independent path such as along a creek. Class II, Bike Lanes for future development are proposed on the following streets: • 91h Street from Interstate 30 to Main Street ■ Louisiana from Markham to I-630 • Center Street from Markham to I-630 + 7`h Street from Rock to Woodrow • Chester Street from Interstate 630 to Roosevelt Road • Main Street from 7th Street to Roosevelt Road • LaMarche Drive, south of Taylor Loop Road r Taylor Loop Road LaMarche Drive to Rahling Road A Class II, Bike Lane is where a portion of the street is marked for the sole use of bicycles. A public hearing has been set for 4 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2014 in the Board Chambers, second floor City Hall, before the Little Rock Planning Commission to review the package of changes.
