The parking in the area for tenants and customers of our bldg is low already and rentable spaces are almost nil in private parking lots except the parking deck at 6t" but is not conducive to short term visitors. So losing metered parking would not be favorable. Thank you. Jill R. At the time of implementation, it could affect on -street parking. At this time we do not know for sure if it would, but there is a possibility. There is currently metered parking along Center Street in front of our bldg. Would the metered parking be affected in any way (fewer spots) if the bike lanes are approved? Jill R. The proposal right now is to add the Proposal to the Bike Plan Map. The idea would be one direction only with the other direction on Center (For Bikes). There is no specific design to share with you at this time just a concept of having bike -lanes. It sounds like you have issue with the loss of any on -street parking and we will keep this note for now. If I understand this correctly, it appears that this proposal may affect public parking on both sides of our office building located at 900 S. Louisiana St and possibly the parking on the west side of our office building located at 901 S. Louisiana St. If possible, would please send me an electronic copy of the City's Master Bike Plan so see we can review the impact this may have on our places of business? The proposal is to add to the Plan Map the concept of a Class I route along Coleman. As you are aware the creek is in the concrete ditch for portions of the alignment. There is no design to share at this time. If this is added to the Plan, you would need to stay involved as the City looks in the future as to how to make the connection proposed. Walter Malone, AICP Planning Manager From: LOUIS NALLEY [mailtodou mar@sbcglobal.net] Sent: Monday, February 24, 2014 8:00 PM To: Malone, Walter Subject: February 14, 2014 Letter Dear Mr. Malone, Thank you for your letter of 2/14/14. I am interested in the location of any proposed right-of-way needed for the Bike Lanes, and how this may affect the property owned by the Louis and June Nalley Revocable Trust. Can you provide me with any drawings as related to this property? Will the proposed Bike Lane be on the east or west side of Coleman creek? Is it the intent of the City of Little Rock to use the right of eminent domain condemnation, as needed, to insure the desired right-of-way? Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
