Street Variance for Kenwood Estates LLC
I would like to go on the record as opposed to granting this variance.
David O Dodd Road is becoming a major artery connecting Stagecoach Road all the way to Hinson Road in West Little
Rock and is heavily used.
J. A. Fair High School and other subdivisions along David O Dodd Road have complied with the city master plan and
widened the road including the first phase of Kenwood Estates with the understanding Kenwood Estates would comply
and complete the road work when they started Phase 2.
There is a church project getting underway just East of 1-430 along the north side of David O Dodd Road and there is
continued development along this road bringing more traffic to the area. I don't think it would be in the best interest of
the city to grant this variance to the master road plan.

I have one other point I would like to make in regards to the Kenwood variance.
There are many school buses and teen drivers traveling to and from school on David O Dodd Road. This subdivision sits
in a sharp curve in the road.
Widening the road around this curve will significantly improve safety in this area especially in bad weather.

I wanted to let you know I've heard from two neighbors along the David O. Dodd corridor. Robert Dozier and Steve
Pennington have both called after getting the certified letter. They are both supportive of the change.
