3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE USES OF THE BALANCE
4 OF 2005 HOME FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

6 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received $1,105,435 in 2005 HOME
7 funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and
8 WHEREAS, on November 1, 2004, the Little Rock Board of Directors approved
9 funding for a portion of the 2005 HOME Program Grant (Res.11,823), and
10 WHEREAS, at that time, funding was set aside for CHDO's and for
11 undesignated projects, and
12 WHEREAS, at least two (2) public hearings have been conducted in order to
13 assure the maximum citizen input possible;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 2. The Board approves the submission of the following projected uses
17 of 2005 Home Investment Partnership Funds:
18 (A) Anthony & Dorothy Broadway $ 60,000
19 (B) P. E. Investments, Inc. 60,000
20 (C) Michael Smith & Assocs. 60,000
21 Total $180,000
22 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
23 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid
24 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
25 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

I declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions are hereby repealed to the
4 extent of such inconsistency.
