Since there is a `typical' intersection design for Arterial roadways as part of the Master Street Plan, Staff felt it might be an appropriate thing to include a `typical' roundabout design also for intersections. Please find attached a graphic that Staff is proposing be added to the Master Street Plan. The intent of this amendment is to provide options for intersection design in Little Rock. The amendment to include the design has been placed on the Little Rock Planning Commission's public hearing scheduled for 4 PM Thursday January 30, 2014. This meeting will be at City Hall (500 West Markham) in the Board Chambers (2nd floor) before the Little Rock Planning Commission. Round -a -bouts shall be designed in accordance with Standard Engineering Practice and Guidelines such as AASHTO, ITE, AFWA, or other applicable standards. The design must be submitted to the Department of Public Works for review and approvals.
