2 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO
3 LASITER CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE SWAGGERTY BRANCH
4 DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER
5 PURPOSES.
6 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the Swaggerty Branch Drainage
7 Improvements Project, under Bid No. 06 -223, and
8 WHEREAS, Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive and
9 responsible bid, in the negotiated amount of $1,205,340.90 ($1,095,764.50 plus 10%
10 contingencies);
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
12 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
14 Lasiter Construction, Inc. for Swaggerty Branch Drainage Improvements Project, under
15 Bid No. 06 -223, in the amount of $1,205,340.90 ($1,095,764.50 plus 10% contingencies).
16 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds are available for this project in 314 - 220 -DP08.
17 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
18 of its adoption.
