3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MASTER STREET PLAN
4 (ORDINANCE NO. 20,117); TO CHANGE DESIGNATION OF EAST 6TH
5 STREET, FROM BOND AVENUE TO 9TH STREET, FROM A MINOR
6 ARTERIAL WITH SPECIAL DESIGN STANDARDS TO A
7 COLLECTOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City Staff reviewed the area and considers a reclassification appropriate based on
10 current and future road patterns; and,
11 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission has reviewed the amendment and recommends the
12 change.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. To change 61' Street from a Minor Arterial for a Collector from Bond Avenue to 9", Street
16 on the Master Street Plan Map, as shown on the attached map.
17 Section 2. To amend the Master Street Plan text, under "Minor Arterials with Alternative Design
18 Standards'; "Right -of. --way Seventy (70) feet with four (4) -lane section, five (5) -lanes at major
19 intersections with additional right-of-way."
