RESOLUTION NO. 12,288
2 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO
3 AMR CONSTRUCTION, LLC FOR CAPITOL AVENUE
4 STREETSCAPE (MAIN TO CENTER) CONSTRUCTION PROJECT;
5 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
6 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the streetscape improvements for Capitol
7 Avenue (Main to Center), under Bid No. 06 -235, and
8 WHEREAS, AMR Construction, LLC submitted the lowest responsive and
9 responsible bid, in the amount of $242,475.17 ($220,431.98 plus 10% contingencies);
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
11 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
13 AMR Construction, LLC for streetscape improvements, under Bid No. 06 -235, in the
14 amount of $242,475.17 ($220,431.98 plus 10% contingencies).
15 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds are available for this project in 314 - 220 -SR21 and
16 301 - 220 -B267, to be combined with private contributions from the Downtown
17 Partnership, with an estimated City share of $206,331.98.
18 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
19 of its adoption.
