3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO
4 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE CO., INC.
5 FOR INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AND A TRAFFIC SIGNAL
6 FOR CHENAL PARKWAY AT WELLINGTON HILLS ROAD; AND
7 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
9 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for improvements to the intersection and a traffic
10 signal at Chenal Parkway and Wellington Hills Road, under Bid No. 06 -225, and
11 WHEREAS, Construction Management & Maintenance Co., Inc. submitted the
12 lowest responsive and responsible bid, in the amount of $553,535.00 ($503,214.00 plus
13 10% contingencies);
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
17 Construction Management & Maintenance Co., Inc., for intersection improvements and
18 a traffic signal, under Bid No. 06 -235, in the amount of $553,535.00 ($503,214.00 plus
19 10% contingencies).
20 Section 2. 2004 Bond Capital Improvement Program Funds are available for this
21 project in the amount of $250,000.00 in 314 - 220 -TS20, and the remainder from private
22 contributions from area property owners.
23 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
24 of its adoption.
