3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH FEDERAL COACH FOR THE PURCHASE
5 OF ONE (1) ADA ACCESSIBLE BUS TO BE UTILIZED BY THE PARKS
6 AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department is in need of one (1) ADA accessible
9 bus, and
10 WHEREAS, the bus will be utilized to assist disabled citizens in several
11 programs in the Parks and Recreation Department, and
12 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of the ADA
13 accessible bus, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from
14 Federal Coach in the amount of Fifty -five Thousand, Seven Hundred Ninety -one
15 Dollars ($55,791.00).
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
19 into a contract for the purchase of one (1) ADA accessible bus from Federal Coach, for
20 the amount of Fifty -five Thousand, Seven Hundred Ninety -one Dollars ($55,791.00).
21 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from 2006 Parks Short
22 Term Financing Account.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
24 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
25 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
26 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so

I declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
4 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
5 of such inconsistency.
