This is an applicants application. On those, we only provide the basic information to the Plans Committee and then ask what issues they think we should include in the review. If it is our item we discuss at more length with pros and cons and sometimes change the application. So the short answer is it will be going to public hearing on June 7, unless the applicant asks for a deferral. Currently Valley Ranch Road is a Local Street built to Commercial Street Standards (those are the same as a Collector). If Patrick Country Road is made a Local Street, it will be built as a Commercial Street. Those from the driving public's prospective you would not be able to tell the difference. (As long as both are built). Do to spacing along Cantrell Road Valley Ranch is more likely to have a signal at some point than Patrick Country. If that were to happen more traffic would be on Valley Ranch due to the signal. (those are some of the pros) 1 The issue we will be looking at is if we move the location would it still serve the same or close to the same function as the current location does. Again the City is not the requester and we are reviewing their proposal.
