Dear Property Owner,
Based on the Pulaski County Assessors records, you own property along Pinnacle Valley
Road, north of Cantrell Road. The City of Little Rock is considering an alternative
design standard for the future construction of Pinnacle Valley Road from County Farm
Road to Cantrell Road. Currently the Master Street Plan calls for this road to be widened
to either four travel lanes and a median or a five -lane section. As you are aware, the
County has made improvements to Pinnacle Valley Road north of the rail tracks (City
Limits) to County Farm Road. This section of road was improved to two travel lanes and
two shoulders. This is the proposed alternate design. If this Master Street Plan
amendment is approved, the City will work to improve the road south of the rail tracks to
the same standard as that already constructed north of the tracks (rather to four or five
lanes).
The Little Rock Planning Commission will consider this alternate design at their meeting
on Thursday, March 15, 2012. The Commission meets at 4:00 PM in the City Board
Chambers, second floor of City Hall, 500 West Markham. If you have comments either
against or for this proposed change, please send them to Walter Malone, 723 West
Markham, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201 (wmalone(cr�].littlergck.org). Please refer to
MSP 12-01 in any correspondence. Any comments received prior to the public hearing on
March 15 will be shared with the Planning Commission. You are also welcome to attend
the hearing and speak to the Commission in either support or opposition to this change.
