MAybe a presentation from the City Attorney about the legal ramifications. How does a
property owner force the City's hand? What rights and redress does a property owner have? etc.

Hello all:
I'd like us to have a discussion about the Chester St. Bridge issue at out next informal
meeting. I don't necessarily have a specific agenda in mind, but here are a few ideas:
■ A presentation from staff about the need to change the Master Street plan that
includes comments from public works. (this doesn't have to be extremely
detailed)
• Presentation and Q&A by Jim McKenzie
• Comments addressing the alternatives for acquiring federal funding for
Metroplan's feasibility study.
A chance for the affected landowners to ask questions and voice concerns
• Q & A from commissioners
I'd like for us to be able to vote on this at the April 26th hearing and feel comfortable that
everyone has gotten their say and we've vetted this properly for the board. Whatever we
have to do to accomplish this, then I think we should do it. Bill, if you have any additional
concerns that you would like addressed, please let me know.
