Subject: Re: LR Bike Plan Subcommittee - Reminder of Meeting tonight
Ed,
Sorry I can't make it to the meeting. But here are my suggestions, maps of each area are included in the
included in the zip file.
1) Geyer Springs
The University bike path should be extended down to Baseline, and Baseline should be one too. There
There should also be an extension along Forbing and then jog down to the secondary roads along I-30.
I-30. And they should be considered bike paths as well.
2) Boyle Park
There should be a path from Col. Glenn and University, taking a left up onto 36th, and then following
following the path through Boyle Park to the north end. This should follow the current path along Rock
Rock Creek, but where the path now ends behind the Fed Ex building, it should continue along Rock
Rock Creek to Kanis Park. From Kanis it should follow the current path across Markham and on to
to Rodney Parham.
3) Cantrell
The path should extend along Hinson from Rodney Parham all the way to Cantrell, and all of Cantrell
Cantrell Should be included.
