We are willing to move forward with the Temple permit under the following conditions:
1. An application for abandonment of the Frazier Pike r -o -w is filed with our office
2. An application for master street plan amendment to change the minor arterial from Frazier Pike
to Thibault Rd. is filed with our office.
3. Acknowledgement from Welspun that construction of the Temple is proceeding at their own risk pending
resolution of the above issues.
As you know, the r -o -w abandonment and MSP amendment will take about three months to work through the
Commission and Board. While we as Planning Staff don't see any real issues with the abandonment and
amendment, there are always unknown variables that can affect the outcome; i.e. citizen involvement,
Commission vote and Board vote.

Here is the update on Frazier Pike from Mr. Chokhani. Any chance we can move forward with
permitting the Temple based on the intent to close FP once the work on Thibault is finished? Can
they put up a bond or some other form of surety to allow them to progress with construction?
