White-Daters & Associates, Inc. 24 Rahling Circle Little Rock, AR 72223 Re: P1378 Addendum to September 26, 2008 Traffic Study Rahling Road Waveland, Mississippi Dear Mr. Daters: As requested, Peters & Associates Engineers, Inc. has conducted this Addendum to the traffic study dated September 26, 2008 for proposed development in the vicinity of Rahling Road in Little Rock, Arkansas. Since the completion of the traffic study dated September 26, 2008, it is understood the developer has proposed a change in land use for one of the study tracts. A 20 acre tract is proposed to be changed from multi -family (approximately 300 units) to office (approximately 170,000 square feet). This change in the land -use would result in slight changes to the projected trip - generation volumes. The following tables depict the trip -generation table as previously presented and the trip -generation with the proposed land use chances included. November 13, 2008 Page 2 As can be seen fro these trip -generation tables, the projected 24-hour traffic volumes decrease slightly, while the peak hour volumes increase slightly with the proposed land use change. As a part of this Addendum, traffic volumes have been redistributed to account for the proposed land -use change on the 20 acre tract. The following tables depict the previous capacity and LOS results summary as previously studied and the capacity and LOS results summary with the proposed land use change included. November 13, 2008 Page 3 In conclusion, as shown on the LOS summary tables, very slight differences result from the proposed land use change. It was found as a part of this additional analysis that the recommended lane geometry and traffic control at the study intersection from the previous report dated September 26, 20087 are still valid. Existing and projected 24-hour weekday traffic volumes are depicted on the attached Figure A, "Existing and Projected 10 - Year 24 -Hour Traffic Volumes (Includes Office Instead of Multi -Family)."
