The proposal is to reduce the right-of-way requirements for University Avenue from 110 feet to 100 feet, reducing the center median design from 14 feet to 4 feet in width. The final design would remain for six through -lanes and sidewalks on both sides of the road. There would be additional right-of-way and lanes at intersections to allow for right and left tarn lanes. A change to the Master Street Plan does not change the zoning of any land nor does it change the assessment of tax purposes. There is a public hearing before the Little Rock Planning Commission scheduled for 4 P.M. on July 10, 2008 to review the proposed amendment.
