Brian
Below are traffic forecast for University from Cantrell to Asher/Colonel
Glenn. These volumes reflect the METRO 2030 constrained plan which includes
the widening of University to 6 through lanes from Asher/Colonel Glenn to
Markham. No other major widening in the vicinity. Existing volumes are
based on AHTD annual traffic counts.
Similar to existing volumes, forecast volumes are lowest near Cantrell and
increase to a peak near I-630.
University Traffic Volumes:
Cantrell to Evergreen 2007 - 17,000
Evergreen to Markham 2007 - 20,000 to 25,000
38,000
Markham to I-630 2007 - 35,000 to 40,000
50,000
I-630 to UALR 2007 - 40,000 to 35,000
to 45,000
UALR to Asher 2007 - 32,000
