Craig,
I have talked to the Public Works guys and the numbers are not enough different to change the overall
recommendation. That recommendation was that there still needed to be 6 through lanes, though the
ROW could be reduced 10 feet if the median is reduce to a foot or two or there is no green area along
the sides of the road.
Would you like to meet with staff to discuss just the University Avenue design issues or wait and have a
meeting to go over all the items for the April agenda. Let me know.
