The Mayor said in the meeting that maybe we should try this again. Perhaps we should talk about this.

Cindy,
Maybe we need to sit down and talk about Ed Levy's push on Pinnacle Valley Road for a two-lane with shoulders. this is a
Minor Arterial 4 -lane 90 foot ROW. In 2007 Staff tried to amend the cross section to two-lane with shoulders and the PC
voted it down on November 8, 2007b by a vote of 4 for and 7 against. the item was taken on to the BOD. At the request of
Tom Carpenter, City Attorney, the item was taken off the Board's agenda (memorandum dated December 7, 2007).
The City was also in Court, Wingfield Martin v. City of Little Rock (Richard Downing and Christian Michaels were is
attorneys and Amy Fields was our attorney). There was an 'agreed order' dated January 10, 2008 and signed by the three
attorneys. There are stipulations in the agreed order.
We need directions. Ed Levy is still pushing for this and is working to get a set of designs from the County to give to Mr.
Martin for his review and hoped for agreement. You heard the Mayor at the Bike Friendly meeting state that maybe we
should 'try again'.
