Mr. Pat McGetrick with (McGetriek and McGrntrick Associates) met with sevefal
officers of the John Barrow Noighborhood Associatioa and prese+ated s plan for A PRD
Site flan application submitted to the City of Littlo Rock Planning Department by Dr,
Betty Orange which, if approved, would allow for approximately 220 assisted living units
on Labette.
This type of facility would conform with our neighborhood plan which specifies medical
for that corridor. However, there is a concern io reference to opening Labette as a
through meet. We feel there would be no benefit to the reAdentiai arca approximately
100 feet to the west of site or to residents at the facility.
ll would however. produce additional cut through traffic to Barrow and Rornine Road and
from a safety standpoint it would open up an area to the South of the development which

A meeting will be held Thursday, March 24, 2006, with Twin Lakes residents to discuss
Ns plan.
We certainly want new development in our area, however, we don't want to put new or
existing residents in an uncomfortable environment.
We strongly request you decision to open Labette be reversed to keeping it closed for
reasons as mentioned above.

Also, we ask it be sNcified as part of this PRD that jfat mytirne. this development be
sold, the only usage for any fiautti purchases would be for only an assisted living faciiity
