Our answer has not changed since the preliminary answer. We do not support a reduction in the design standards for this minor arterial. Traffic counts are already at the design service level of 5000 vpd. -----Original Message ----- From: Henry, Bill Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2004 2:58 PM To: Hood, Mike; Lowes, Guy; Haralson, Steve Subject: RE: MSP issue on Springer Avenue I think we need to keep the standard as is. If we use stage construction, I am ok with that. IF this area starts to take off such as Col Glenn has, this could cause us significant problems in the future. William L. Henry, P.E. The group 1 am working with wants to amend the MSP to modify the design Standard on Springer Avenue to 90 ROW and 36 feet paving. This is a Minor Arterial with expected ADT till 2025 around 3000 to 4000 Let me know in the next day or so if you folks in PW would have a problem with a modified design standard for Springer Avenue through Granite Mountain neighborhood.
