A petition is hereby submitted to the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, through the
Little Rock Planning Commission, to amend the Master Street Plan.
STREET NAMES:

Wellington Hills Road and
Kanis Road.
Wellington Hills Road from Chenal Parkway southwards to Kanis Road.
Kanis Road from the eastern intersection of Kanis Road and Chenal Parkway
eastwards to the west end of the Rock Creek bridge.

REASON FOR RECLASSIFICATION.
Wellington Hills Road: (i) Increased benefits to traffic flow and public
safety and (ii) to clarify the classification of the
street under the Master Street Plan.

MODIFICATION OF DESIGN CROSS SECTION: Yes.
IF YES, DESCRIBE NEW DESIRED DESIGN STANDARD: Primarily a five lane minor arterial street
without a bike lane. A schematic design exhibit drawing will be provided to Planning for review at the
end of the week of May 17, 2004, following comments from Public Works (Traffic and Civil).
It is understood that Notice of the Public Hearing hereon before the Little Rock Planning Commission
will be circulated by the Applicant at his/her expense to all parties in interest.
