AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A
REDUCTION OF MASTER STREET PLAN
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR KANIS
ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
waiver of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for Kanis Road LLC located
on Kanis Road on both sides of Pointe West Drive.
Subsection a. That Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct
roadway improvements to the to the current design requirements of the Master
Street Plan be partially waived for the proposed office subdivision. The specific
waiver is for widening and improving Kanis Road to one half of a five lane road-
way section.
Subsection b. The developer will instead construct Kanis Road at this location to
one half of a three lane collector standard.
Subsection c. A right-of-way dedication of 30' from centerline of Kanis Road
will be required.
Subsection d. Any future zoning actions or re -development of the site will be
subject to Master Street Plan requirements in effect at the time.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
